Subject: Competitive Examination (CE) for promotion to the posts of MTS from eligible Gramin Dak Sevak for the vacancy year 2023, held on 30.04.2023 (Sunday) of Bihar Circle - Publication of Surplus result - I of successful GDS candidates(Merit list) from all Postal Division and RMS Division in Bihar Circle to the post of MTS due to refusal.
This is in continuation of this office letter of even no. dated 21.10.2023 and12.03.2024 vide which main result (Division merit list) and Surplus result of successful GDS candidates in MTS cadre was published.
As instructions contained in point no. 2 (O) of Postal Directorate letter no. 1708/2018-SPN-I dated 15.06.2022, the competent authority is pleased to publish the Surplus Result - I of successful GDS candidates from all Postal Division and RMS Division for the post of MTS cadre due to refusal. Details of successful GDS candidates in surplus result - I is annexed as Annexure-A.
Other instructions contained in this office letter of even no. dated 21.10.2023 may please be followed.
Concerned divisional heads/unit heads will issue offer of appointment to the successful GDS candidates and obtain acceptance of offer of appointment within 7 days and if the candidates are involved in the election work in any capacity, they shall not be relieved/dislocated during the operation of Model Code of Conduct till the election process isover.
Further, concerned Division/Unit heads are advised to obtain consent successful candidates Division/Unit heads will also make contact to successful candidates who are on leave for obtaining their consent to join promotional post in writing. Candidates who do not wish to join promotional post may be encouraged to communicate same in writing.
